So I didn't read too much about this until this morning. Just the basics. When I initially read that an assistant saw Sandusky in the shower with a kid, I figured it was just inappropriate touching or something. That would have been bad enoguh. But fucking raping the kid? How do you not intervene? Its a grown man ass-raping a child and you do nothing? The worst part is that it complete reflects the reaction by Penn State as a whole to this.

I've reached a point of insensitivity to the world that pretty much nothing shocks or bothers me that much anymore. But this is just some sick shit that some of these folks need to be culpable for. How can you claim to be moral when you refused to do the morally obviously thing and intervene, and your inaction caused more hurt to more children... Fuck you.

This is probably the most disgusting thing ive ever seen happen in sports. The negligence of everyone involved is quite alarming, not only from a stand point of authority, but from a stand point of human morales. How could you know something like this had been going on for so long and turn a blind eye to it? Not only did everyone involved know what was going on, but they also knew dude had a CHILDREN'S CHARITY for 30+ years, how can you not only ignore it but basically ENCOURAGE it to happen but knowing this guy works with children all the time. Its fucking disgusting stuff. I dont see how any parent could want to send their child to Penn St now until their hands are well washed clean of this shit. And Penn St has to clean house here, from top to bottom, including Joe Pa, who I am entirely disgusted with right now for him having knowledge of this and doing nothing for a dozen years. The fact that Sadunsky was allowed to be in the weight room and shit as recently as last week is absolutely hideous stuff. Everyone was turning a blind eye. As human beings everyone should be ashamed of their existence right now.

Paterno didn't cancel you goofs, the school cancelled on him. He wanted to answer questions on Sandusky, but the school wouldn't allow it.

Word now is he may call his own presser.

To give Sandusky keys to the facility and have him up on campus LAST WEEK is so sickening. They have had a clue that this has been going on since 1998 and they still let this guy come up on campus. Everyone involved with this should be ashamed of themselves and should be removed from the university. To turn your head and just let child rape happen might be one of the lowest things I have ever heard.

You obviously respect Paterno as a coach and are lying to yourself if you don't think he played a large role in this controversy.

The school is in the process of getting Paterno out. There is evidence coming from all angles of a long history of cover up, lack of follow up and all-out facilitated Sandusky by allowing him to retain an office, have keys and full access to Penn State football facilities.

Maybe Paterno didn't have anything directly involved with it but if he's this legendary coach that has as much clout as we know he all does, he could've done something in 1998.

I will not believe that he did all he can to remove Sandusky from HIS program. He didn't. He allowed him to associate himself with the university even after hearing about multiple allegations against him. That's sickening.

After reading the grand jury report, Paterno is pretty low on my list of people I would hold accountable.

I still want to hear him speak on his relationship with Sandusky, what he said to who and when he said it, and I want to hear HIM answer to why Sandusky was still (allegedly) hanging around.

The police knew anbout Sandusky twice and did not follow up. One of those times, they recorded a phone conversation where Sandusky confessed to a parent. The DA knew about Sandusky and failed to folllow up on the charges at least once. Child Protective Services in that county knew about Sandusky and failed to follow up. McQueary WITNESSED THE FUCKING RAPE and failed to inform the police. A janitor WITNESSES A FUCKING RAPE and failed to inform the police. The Penn St brass covered everything up.

I'm not naive, I know how society works, and why Paterno is the lightning rod here, so the vultures are swarming, but for fucks sake, can we swing some attention to the real cretins here?
