He's not. But he also shouldn't be brought up on charges when as far as we know he broke no laws.

He had to go, the program needs/needed to be cleaned out from top to bottom to start the healing/recovery process.

That is what sparked the discussion about him.....the fact that people are trying to make him a victim in all of this is what's disgusting to me.....he got fired, so fucking what......guess what he gets to go home, faces ZERO charges, he's still adored by many factions and he didn't get his ass raped

you are right, i should elaborate......i am rambling a bit cause i am outraged.

i am not trying to accuse the innocent for sure but the ones who knew something wrong was going on; investigators, DA office, coaches, admins,...who ever.

Legally Paterno will never be punished, and quite frankly thats kind of irrelevant to me at this point, not like JoePa has many years left. But I hope that if he knew, and really believed he could do more then he atleast has to "suffer" by living with the guilt of not doing more.

try to explain and justify that to the victims and their parents, then see what they say.........

Anyone hear Mike and Mike this morning when they were reading from the McQueary's grand jury statement? That fucking guy basically walked in on Sandusky when he was balls deep on a 10 year old....and ran away to call his daddy. This fucking guy was 28 years old, and did nothing to defend this kid. He should be thrown in jail under the Good Samaritan laws. He is the 2nd worst of the bunch.

Apparently they found his car along a river with his work laptop, but the laptop was missing the HD. It's a weird twist. Another weird twist 3 years before he disappeared, his brother was found dead as well.

It's amazing to me how Paterno is the lightning rod here, when you have police who did nothing, DA's who did nothing, WITNESSES TO RAPE who did nothing, parents who did nothing, school admins who did nothing.

The hollier than thou crowd keeps talking about how "this isnt about football, this is about the victims". BULLSHIT. The lynch mob has made this entirely about football by centering the attention on a guy who is waaaaaaay down the list of people culpable for this mess - the head football coach. We made it about football, and not about the victims, by focusing on the highest profile person involved. It's actually pretty disgusting.

Maybe it is a case of simply pointing to the most public figure in this mess. Completely possible.

On the other hand, this case is starting to sound much deeper than just one of JoePa's friends being a kid diddler. This has been a decade+ of coverup.

JoePa's the lightening rod, not just because he's the most recognizable name, but he's the damn king of Central Pennsylvania. His own bosses could not fire him for over the same decade. There are rumors that not only was he complicit in this, he may very well have been involved in the coverup. There very well could have been a child prostitution ring. You know, eventually, a child pornography ring will shoot up in all this madness.

This little gated off section of the country could have been nesting a huge nest of child molesters...
